Properties: favours digestive function and carries out an antioxidant action.

Suggested use: useful for chronic disturbances of the biliary tract in subjects suffering from liver failure. The essential oil is rich in antibacterial properties. Used in the past in expectorant syrups.

As an antispasmodic of the biliary tract and as a hepatic drainage it contributes to improving all skin manifestations of allergic origin which are the basis of slowed liver function.

Curiosity: grated radish with a little added salt and vinegar makes suitable company for boiled and grilled meats; often used in various sauces of a creamy consistency.
